SUMMER SOCCER VOTE
As you are all aware, we didn't have the best weather at the start of the comp so a few rounds were rained out. We have done everything in our power to try to catch up all the games however we are still one round behind on all three competition nights. Unfortunately with only two rounds remaining and over 50 games to catch up across all three nights, we are unable to fit all the games in.
We want to make sure that we do what the majority of our teams are happy with so we wanted everyone's opinion on the two options available to us and the option that receives the most votes will be the one that we proceed with.
Below are the two options available to us
Option 1:
The missed round does not get played and it becomes a 9 round competition.
Round 9: 21st, 22nd and 23rd November
Round 10: 28th, 29th, 30th November
Semi Finals: 5th, 6th and 7th December
Grand Finals: 12, 13 and 14 December
IMPORTANT: option 1 means that the teams who did not qualify for a finals spot and the U5's/6s, who wish to, will play a friendly during the semi final week to ensure they play an additional game to make up for the missed round.
Option 2:
Round 9: 21st, 22nd and 23rd November
Round 10: 28th, 29th, 30th November
The missed round: 5th, 6th and 7th December
Semi Finals and Grand Finals: 12th, 13th and 14th December. Double header finals nights where teams play both their Semi Final and Grand Final on their comp night with a break in between
IMPORTANT: option 2 may mean that some of the Monday night comps may need to play their double header finals series on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights so we can fit them all in.
