NOTICE OF AGM

The AGM is an important event to ensure the members have a say in the people that they want to run the club. Members are entitled to one vote each to help shape the future of the club.

Marayong FC invites all members to attend the AGM and have their say. Below is the 2024 notice of AGM which outlines the agenda for the AGM and the committee position that are up for vote at the upcoming season. 

For all members who are not across our constitutional requirements, it states that a person can hold a title for 2 years before that position must be put up for new nominations and votes, even if that person happy to stay in that role and the members are happy for them to remain. Nominations for those positions are submitted according to the requirements below and if more than one nomination is submitted and accepted for a position, that position will go to a member vote at the AGM and the winner of the vote will hold that position for the next two years.

All nominations must be sent via email no less than 14 days prior to the meeting date, any nominations received outside of this timeline will not be accepted. All nominations must include an email address for the nominee which will be used to receive written confirmation that the nominee is accepting their nominations. If a nominee does not respond to the email confirmation or rejects their nomination then that nomination will not be accepted.

Only the positions listed in the notice of AGM are open for nomination, nominations for any other positions will not be accepted as those positions have not served their 2 year term yet, unless the person in that position is stepping down.

** Please note that a person cannot nominate themselves and persons who have nominated may be contacted to confirm that they are indeed the one who submitted the nomination.  The club may also compare the details on the form to the details in DRIBL to ensure that the person who submitted a nomination is indeed a member, so please ensure that you use the email address and mobile number that you have listed in DRIBL during the 2024 registration process. If you are not a club member, you are not entitled to nominate or vote.
